Why Reflection?

One of the best things you can give yourself is time . . . time to take a moment and reflect.

It allows you to take a step back and look at what you’ve done, what you could have done better, and what you might change for next time. Reflection also allows us to celebrate our successes and ponder our failures.

What I’ve learned in my years of teaching (starting back in 1999 and still going!) is that every once in a while, we teachers need to reflect in ways that help us build our craft.  That’s what these resources do – in a caring and creative way!

As an arts integration specialist and creator of SEAL: Social-Emotional Artistic Learning, I know that creative teacher self-care is a must!

Please enjoy this resource I’ve created just for caring, creative teachers like YOU!
