There are so many people out there that really do believe in arts education, arts integration and the value the arts have on students and people of all ages. I come across these people all the time: at my school, at workshops, on Twitter and Facebook, at the coffee shop, at Teacher Retreats, close to home, across the country and around the world.

We strive to inspire our students with the arts and although there is a true belief in its power in learning, so often we come across roadblocks: schedules, paperwork, curriculum demands to be completed in time for the state testing, pressures from administration, time constraints, the list goes on and on.

There’s no reason for us to feel this way for long.  We have each other!  And now you know where to find other like-minded educators to connect with.

In our Inspiring Teachers closed Facebook Group.

The word Inspiring, in this title is both an adjective AND a verb.

We ARE inspiring.  It describes who we are as educators: We inspire our students with our lessons, stories and smiles.

And we also are called to Inspire each other: with ideas, shared experiences, stories and of course great activities we’ve tried.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that there is a community for that to happen? A community where educators from all over the world share ideas, work together and help bring arts education and integration into the forefront?

Let’s grow this community and inspire each other so we can continue to inspire our students!

Join other Inspiring Teachers.  We can’t wait to hear from you!
