Yes and Yes!
Jerry - Twitter has only become a more and more rich experience for me as I continue to read tweets, gain followers and follow more people.

Gerald - I am so glad I met you in person today and I really look forward to learning more about you and from you. Now I have your talent "recipe"!

Elizabeth, I'm glad you came to #ntcamp because I got the chance to meet you today in the Talent Swap session, which is a good example of how Twitter works in both directions: not only did you finally meet people who you've known on Twitter for a while, but now you'll get to follow people on Twitter and stay connected with people you met in person.

I did not have the opportunity to get to Philly for #ntcamp, but Twitter has certainly changed me as an educator as well. I started in education 6 years ago from the business world and I approached my job as a technology specialist from a business standpoint for my first 3 years. Then came Twitter and the amazing like-minded people there. They have transformed me and my way of thinking. I am now an educator first and a tech person a far second. I am so glad I overcame my doubts about Twitter when I first tweeted and had no idea why I was doing it. I stuck with it and it has made me a better person and a better teacher.
